ProfileBob is proud to be a native Oregonian and loves his state! He left Oregon to serve five years in the United States Navy. Upon his return he attended the University of Oregon to study the field of accounting. After graduation in 1985, Bob began working for Laventhol & Horwath, a national accounting firm. He furthered his education by gaining his CPA License in 1987. In 1988 he became a partner in a local firm and after seven successful years sold his practice in 1995.
During the next four years, Bob served as the CFO, and minority owner, of a manufacturer of material handling equipment and systems. Following that opportunity, Bob went on to serve as the CFO of a cabinet door manufacture. The company experienced rapid growth and was able to sell to a national company in 2002. Subsequent to that success, Bob then served as President of this subsidiary until August 2004. The company employed over 200 people and furthered their achievements by completing a new building and land expansion.
Bob has long desired to return to Public Accounting and feels that now is the right time. Over the years, Bob has kept his license active and his knowledge current. The many years of hands-on business experience has broadened his perspective. Thus, further enhancing the advice that he has to offer businesses as well as individuals. Beyond that, Bob prides himself in listening to his clients and working hard to satisfy their needs. The bottom line is helping his clients grow their wealth and successfully plan and implement their future!
