Bob started Robert W. Bennett C.P.A., P.C., in 2004. He started his career at Laventhol & Horwath, a national accounting firm. Then he became a partner in a local firm in 1987 and after seven successful years sold his practice. During the next ten years he served as a CFO and President of two manufacturing companies. Bob has 20 plus years experience as a CPA and 10 plus years experience as a CFO and President. Bob has experience in individual and business taxation, strategic planning, business consulting, business management, business accounting, mergers and acquisitions, financial statement analysis, cash flow management, succession planning, new business formation, bank financing, benefit plans, and sales negotiating. Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, five children and twelve grandchildren. Bob is an avid outdoors man and loves this state.

Roger started his full service practice in Wilsonville in 1977. For the past several years he has concentrated on serving the needs of individual clients and specialized services of a court appointed conservator and trustee. As of January 1, 2011, Roger transferred his client base to Bob with the commitment to both his clients and Bob to participate in a smooth transition of the client needs into Bob’s practice. Roger is working out of Bob’s office to assist Bob and his staff as well as review the income tax returns of his former clients. He will also keep his office on SW Miley Road open until late in 2011.

Cassandra joined our team as a staff accountant in January 2007. Cassandra has 10 plus years experience in public accounting. Cassandra has experience in taxation, small business consulting, retirement benefit plans, and strategic planning for individuals and small businesses. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado Christian University. Cassandra enjoys skiing and hiking with her husband.

Joshua joined the firm in January of 2009. Prior to joining Bob and his team, he served as an assistant controller at a regional carpeting company and spent 3 years at a regional public accounting firm in downtown Portland. Josh received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon in Accounting and Economics. Josh has experience in individual and corporate taxation, auditing, financial statement write-up and analysis, compilations, reviews, and employee benefit plans. Josh enjoys sports and spending time with his wife, daughter and dog.

LeiLani joined the firm in January of 2011. She is a Licensed Tax Consultant in the State of Oregon and Enrolled Agent (enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.) Prior to joining this team of highly qualified individuals she worked in the retail tax industry for 5 years. She managed three retail tax locations with 50 employees and has processed thousands of returns. LeiLani specializes in individual tax preparation and consulting with an emphasis on small businesses and client representation for audit and correspondence issues for both the IRS and Oregon Department of Revenue. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science. She enjoys camping with her husband and son and supporting her son’s sports and scouting activities.

Colleen joined the firm in February of 2009. Colleen has been in accounting for over 30 years. She has been a licensed tax preparer for 15 years. Colleen handles the QuickBooks support, payroll, time and billing for the firm. She is married with two sons and two grandchildren. She enjoys camping, gardening, sewing, the beach, horseback riding and spending time with her family.

Lori joined our team in January of 2011 as the Processor/Admin/Receptionist. She has been an Administrative Assistant for the past seven years. Before that, she was a stay at home mom for her two sons; the oldest is at Oregon State University (sorry Bob!) and her youngest attends Oregon City High School. Lori enjoys scrapbooking, reading, sports and back road trips with her husband.
